3. What this website does not do
- It sets no cookies and uses no comparable storage of its own.
- It uses no analytics, tracking, advertising or social media plugins.
- It has no contact form, no comments, no user accounts, no newsletter and no shop.

4. Server log files (hosting)
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you open a page, the server automatically processes technical data that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page or file, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referring page (referrer) and browser/operating system (user agent).
This data is needed to deliver the website, to keep it secure and stable (for example, to detect attacks or abuse) and to fix errors. We do not combine it with other data and do not use it to identify individual visitors. It is stored for a limited period as set by the hosting provider and then deleted. The data is processed on servers operated by Hostinger; according to Hostinger’s privacy policy, Hostinger and its service providers may process data in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Cyprus and other countries, and transfers outside the EU/EEA are based on the EU standard contractual clauses. Hostinger processes this data on our behalf as a processor (Art. 9 FADP; Art. 28 GDPR) under its Data Processing Addendum.
Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. YouTube videos (click to load)
Our videos are shown with a preview image that is stored on our own server. No connection to YouTube is made until you click the play button. Only then does your browser load the YouTube player in “privacy-enhanced mode” from youtube-nocookie.com.
From that moment on, YouTube receives at least your IP address, the page you are on and technical information about your browser and device. YouTube may store cookies or similar information on your device and may link the data to your Google account if you are logged in. For users in Switzerland and the EU/EEA, the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Details: policies.google.com/privacy.
By clicking play, you choose to load the video. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is your consent given by this click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not want this, simply don’t click play, or watch the video directly on YouTube.
6. Links to YouTube
Buttons such as “Subscribe” or “Watch on YouTube” are ordinary links. Nothing is transmitted to YouTube until you click them. After that, YouTube’s privacy policy applies.
7. Contact by email
If you write to us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer you. Our contact address is a Gmail account, so emails you send us are also processed by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA); see Google’s privacy policy. We delete this data when it is no longer needed for that purpose, unless we must keep it for legal reasons. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering your enquiry) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (if your enquiry concerns a contract).
8. Your rights
Under the FADP you have the right to request information about your personal data (Art. 25 FADP), to have incorrect data corrected, to have data deleted or its processing restricted, to object to processing and to receive your data in a common electronic format (Art. 28 FADP). To exercise these rights, write to vindheimrituals@gmail.com.
You may file a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, www.edoeb.admin.ch.
If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection), the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in the EU/EEA, in particular in your country of residence.
9. Security
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS).
10. Changes
We may update this privacy policy when the website or the law changes. The version published on this page applies.
